It’s true! Winter is coming.
As soon as we spin those hands on the clock backwards we are immersed in darkness by 4:20 p.m. Every. Single. Day.

There was a time in my somewhat misspent youth (actually it was so misspent it was mortgaged) when I viewed that extra hour as a chance to extend the party. Any party. Now, the dent in my pillow sinks that much further and the coffee maker clocks a tardy start.
There are lots of ways to deal with Old Man Winter- not the least of which is wondering… if he is that friggin old, why the heck is he still going – with all that nasty blowing and whistling for chrissake?
But I digress.
My weekly Blogging Away the Winter Blahs which I hope – actually really really-hope you sign up for (see link at end of this tome) will offer lots of fun ways to wile away the winter months.
Like going south for instance.
I’ll be reporting in from blustery locations such as Maple Ridge Ranch
As well as Blazing hot locations such as Zancudo, Costa Rica
I’ll be reviewing and providing links for inspirational and fun books, biographies, travel guides and travel destinations, including snapshots of destinations you must see before you die… or better yet, before winter is over.
Periodically, I will profile weird and whacky ‘Not your mother’s collectibles’. (OK so my owl, elephant and peacock collections might have jump-started the idea)
Winter is also a good time to explore Fun Party Designs and Ideas (there are other party ‘musts’ besides requisite trips to your local Lickbo people!) and lots of photography and published articles.
So, please sign up for your weekly updates and we’ll get started.
And don’t worry…this email list will not be sold to anyone, except maybe Bill Gates – if he offers me a cool $100 mil – in which case I will share the wealth – (enough incentive to sign up, Yes?) or to Mick Jagger… if he offers to Start Me Up! (no share on this option)
‘Til next week…. Adios and Namaste Cece
